The Centre for Science, Knowledge and Policy at Edinburgh (SKAPE) brings together academic researchers across a range of disciplines, as well as policy practitioners, to examine the relationships and intersections between different types of science and knowledges on policy, including in environment and sustainability.
Led by the cross-College Energy@Ed network, which incorporates expertise from social science, business, law and architecture, as well as through close collaboration with ECCI. Research explores issues around design and governance of energy systems and infrastructures across the world, including in lower income settings, as well as legal, economic and political dimensions of reducing climate emissions, and climate change activism.
